Evans Resource Group is a data security company that provides solutions for governments, corporations and industries globally. The firm provides testing, training and optimization of IBM’s WebSphere networks in partnership with Payment Card Industry Qualified Security Assessors (QSAs) and other industry governance agencies.
A qualified candidate will be able to seamlessly transfer and apply his or her skills into each facet of the firm’s responsibilities. He or she will report directly to the Managing Director and interact with the firm’s sales operations frequently, in addition to other team members.

Responsibilities: Divided into three integral categories below
Executive/Administrative Assistant:
- Answering incoming calls
- Managing calendar, setting up appointments
- Filing
- Opening mail
- Paying bills, processing expenses, maintaining account balances, executing wire transfers
- Mailing and packaging
- Light bookkeeping, managing payroll of firm’s employees
- Buying and keeping stock of office supplies
- Organizing and maintaining professional look and feel of office space
- General clerical work, transcribing notes, drafting correspondences
- Other office management activities
Sales and Marketing Assistant:
- Basic Excel spreadsheet work
- Work with Salesforce.com CRM system (will train)
- Conducting public & private company research via SEC Filings, Research Reports, Creating Comps Analyses, Interacting with Investor Relations, in-depth Internet Research, etc.
- Moderate understanding of accounting principles, reading Income Statements, Balance sheets and Cash Flow statements
- Updating periodic analyses and presentations on corporate performance
Personal Assistant:
- Organizing and making travel plans
- Managing payroll of employees at family’s homes in NJ, FL, and NY
- From time to time, working as a personal assistant to other family members
- Restaurant reservations, personal and other recreational errands
Qualifications:
- College degree or higher
- Minimum 3 years experiences as a Senior Level Admin/Exec Assistant at a financial firm
- Familiarity with the Technology industry a plus
- Familiarity with Salesforce.com and IBM PartnerWorld a plus
- Phone and interpersonal office etiquette
- Strong knowledge of Excel
- Fluent in using Power Point, Microsoft Word, and Outlook
- Robust written and verbal skills
- EXCELLENT ability to multi-task
- EXCEPTIONAL organizational skills
- ACUTE attention to detail
- SUPERB ability to anticipate the needs of the portfolio manager and to solve problems
- Important to be a self-starter
Additional Considerations:
Hours: 8:00-5:30, roughly 45-50 hours a week
Bonus: Annually based on firm’s performance
Vacation: 2 weeks
